The sun after the storm

After two weeks of non-stop rain, we finally get some sunlight

A photo of a white cat with cream colored ears and a ringed tail laying down on the back of a wooden bench, enjoying the autumnal sun. The pic is taken from behind, so most of it is the cat’s tail and a leg he left hanging. His ears are turned backwards listening for something, but he faces forward with his head slightly raised, smelling the air

And what a relief! We were starting to feel caged in! Though, I suppose "after the storm" is not quite right.... It's more like the eye of the tornado, as we are still expecting continuous rain through this month and even the next one! Ah but our walk was quite nice, we sat in the sun photosynthesizing, and met a person who wanted to walk their kitty as well! They apparently did so before moving here, but they were confused by some recent law change and thought cat walking was banned- it makes sense, since most news outlets explain it poorly, but no, what is banned is letting your cat free roam- as it should be!
